For most of my life, I thought I was searching for something.
More confidence.
More peace.
More abundance.
More purpose.
More certainty.
I thought the blessings were somewhere outside of me.
Waiting.
Hidden.
Reserved for some future version of myself.
Then I started reading the Bible differently.
Not through the lens of fear.
Not through the lens of limitation.
But through the lens of possibility.
And one verse changed everything.
“The kingdom of God is within you.”
— Luke 17:21
Within you.
Not someday.
Not somewhere else.
Not after you die.
Within you.
If the Kingdom of God is within me, then where have I been searching all this time?
Why have I spent years looking outside of myself for things God already placed inside of me?
The more I studied Scripture, the more I began to realize that the Bible is filled with reminders of who we truly are.
Not who the world says we are.
Who God says we are.
Before I ever had a title, a business, a platform, or a plan, God knew me.
“Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee.”
— Jeremiah 1:5
Before the mistakes.
Before the heartbreak.
Before the insecurities.
Before the fear.
He knew me.
And He still chose me.
Imagine what would happen if we truly believed that.
Imagine how differently we would walk into a room.
Imagine how differently we would pursue our dreams.
Imagine how differently we would pray.
The Bible says:
“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.”
— Proverbs 23:7
Not as he thinketh in his mind.
In his heart.
Because the heart is where identity lives.
The heart is where belief lives.
The heart is where faith lives.
Most people are trying to change their circumstances without first changing the beliefs they carry in their hearts.
Yet Scripture repeatedly points us inward.
Toward faith.
Toward belief.
Toward expectation.
The woman who believes she is unworthy will unconsciously reject opportunities that prove otherwise.
The woman who believes she is forgotten will overlook evidence that she is loved.
The woman who believes she is powerless will struggle to see the power God has already placed within her.
This is why renewing the mind is so important.
“Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
— Romans 12:2
Notice the word transformed.
Not informed.
Transformed.
Because transformation begins when our thinking changes.
When our identity changes.
When our expectations change.
For years, people have asked me what I believe about manifestation.
My answer is simple.
I believe manifestation is co-creating with God.
I do not believe I am separate from Him.
I believe He dwells within me.
I believe He gives us vision for a reason.
I believe He plants desires within us for a reason.
I believe He equips us for the assignments He calls us to.
The Bible says:
“A man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven.”
— John 3:27
Everything comes from God.
Every gift.
Every opportunity.
Every idea.
Every calling.
But if the Kingdom of Heaven is within us, then perhaps the blessings we seek begin by aligning ourselves with what God has already placed inside of us.
Not striving.
Not forcing.
Not chasing.
Receiving.
Believing.
Becoming.
This realization changed my life.
I stopped seeing myself as someone trying to earn worthiness.
I stopped seeing myself as someone trying to prove my value.
The Bible already told me my value.
“She is more precious than rubies.”
— Proverbs 3:15
More precious than rubies.
Not after she succeeds.
Not after she heals.
Not after she gets married.
Not after she reaches her goal weight.
Now.
Today.
As she is.
This is why diamonds became such a powerful symbol for me.
A diamond does not become valuable because someone finally recognizes it.
It was valuable the entire time.
The same is true for you.
You are not becoming worthy.
You are awakening to the worth God already placed within you.
I have come to believe that many of us spend our lives asking God for things He is trying to awaken within us.
More faith.
More confidence.
More courage.
More belief.
Yet the Kingdom is already within.
The Creator of the universe already lives within.
The power is already within.
The assignment is already within.
The purpose is already within.
The abundance is already within.
Seek ye first the Kingdom.
Not because God is withholding blessings from you.
But because everything you are searching for begins with discovering who you already are in Him.
You are not forgotten.
You are not ordinary.
You are not here by accident.
You were known before you were formed.
You were chosen before you were born.
You were created in His image.
And when you finally begin to believe that in your heart, your entire reality begins to change.
Because transformation begins within.
The Kingdom of God is within you, and transformation begins by renewing your mind and seeing yourself the way God sees you. The Kingdom has been there all along.
