You Are the Oracle: Why Spiritual Tools Can’t Replace Divine Inner Knowing

There was a time I found myself scrolling through TikTok, watching every tarot reader, every pendulum swing, and every dowsing rod video as if they held the answers to my life. And in a way, I get it—it’s comforting to feel like the universe is speaking to you directly. I even used a pendulum for fun at one point, until I noticed how easy it was becoming to rely on it.

But the turning point wasn’t in the tool itself—it was in my awareness. I started realizing that I was beginning to give away something sacred: my own knowing.

I had an old friend who couldn’t start or end her day without using her pendulum. It dictated her thoughts, her mood, her decisions. And as I watched that dependency grow, I saw the reflection of what could happen if I continued searching for truth in things outside of me. That moment changed everything.

Because here’s the truth: we are the spiritual tool.
We are made in the image and likeness of God—the Creator of all things, including the tools we use to seek clarity. Tarot, pendulums, dowsing rods—these are not inherently wrong. They can be beautiful reflections of our energy. But they are not our guides. They are not our source. They are mirrors for our subconscious at best.

And mirrors can be distorted if the one looking into them is ungrounded.

Once I realized that the Holy Trinity isn’t something I need to search for—it’s something that lives inside me—I stopped outsourcing my authority. I stopped waiting for signs, stopped clinging to predictions, stopped letting my ego micromanage every move in the name of “manifestation.”

Instead, I got still.
I learned to listen—to my higher self, to God, to the divine whispers that only come when we quiet the noise.

Everything I need to know is already in me.

I trust my inner knowing.
I trust the divine rhythm of my life.
I trust that I am always exactly where I’m meant to be.

My ego wanted control. It wanted validation. It wanted to feel safe by having every outcome confirmed ahead of time. But true guidance doesn’t come through control. It comes through surrender.

And I had to let my ego step aside so I could finally be divinely led.

Because the version of me I embody now?
She doesn’t chase clarity—she creates it.
She doesn’t beg for signs—she is the sign.
She doesn’t need a pendulum to decide her path—because her path is already blessed.

So no, I don’t knock spiritual tools. For many, they’re a part of cultural lineage, or a stepping stone on the journey back home to self. But I believe in teaching people the deeper truth:

You don’t need cards. You don’t need a pendulum. You don’t need the rods.

You need trust.
You need presence.
You need to remember that God planted the entire divine blueprint within you—and your only job is to listen to it.

Because it’s not on you.
It’s in you.
And that’s more than enough.
